E-mail Forwarding
Find out more on e-mail forwarding, how it works and in which circumstances it is helpful to have it enabled.
With the email forwarding activated for any specific address, all incoming email messages will be sent to a third-party e-mail address that you've selected although the latter won't be in the list of recipients and the sender won't be informed where their message goes. Feel free to use such a feature in case you have multiple emails as it will be easier to receive all of the inbound messages in just a single mailbox rather than signing in and out of different ones on a regular basis or setting up a number of mailboxes in an email client. In case you manage a company or maybe an organization, the email forwarding is also a method to look at all emails received by various divisions for improved coordination. You could also use this characteristic the other way around - a message sent to a standard email address can be forwarded to multiple people.
E-mail Forwarding in Shared Hosting
The Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with all of our shared hosting packages, will help you to forward any e-mail address inside the account to a different one easily. You can do this either during the creation of a brand new email address or whenever you want later on in case you decide that you require this function. During the process, you are able to decide if you want a duplicate of the email messages to be kept on the server. This way, you'll have a backup and you will avoid the possibility to lose an e-mail message if the forwarding is to an exterior address, which is temporarily inaccessible. This option can be enabled and deactivated at any moment, but if you use e-mails for crucial matters, it is best to use it, since no data of the email messages are maintained on the server if the option is not enabled. If you determine that you do not need forwarding anymore, it will take just a click to disable it.
