Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME universal extension is the only one meant for personal sites only. These domain names can be personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other designations people are known by. At first, solely third-level registrations were possible, so if you planned to obtain john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already bought third-level names remained running.

You will have the chance to switch the WHOIS information, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already purchased domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer key from the present domain registrar and we will renew it once the transfer has been completed.
